Welcome.

On my site I share affordable fashion for the mature woman. I want other people to share in the excitement of being the best version of themselves at any age.

Back To Nature And Basics

Back To Nature And Basics

The weather is changing here in the South, and this girl is so very excited! I am so fond of living where I live because of the distinct four seasons we get to experience here. I do have a favorite season, well……..it’s a toss up between Spring and Fall.  It’s a toss up between these two seasons because Spring is so incredible. As you look out at nature, what was dead from Winter starts coming back to life. The grass starts greening up, trees begin to bud and bloom, the azalea bushes blossom, and flowers begin to break free from the earth, growing up from ground. It’s also the time that I run and pick up my basics for Spring. Some of these basics consist of picking up the ole classic black, white, gray and oatmeal colored tee shirts.  This year my gray tee was still in great shape, so no need to pick one up.

I also decided this Spring to try a scoop neck in black instead of a crew neck.

These tees are so good to have for layering under sweaters, blazers and lightweight jackets or just by themselves with any bottom of your choosing. Let’s face it, after wearing these through Spring and Summer, these tees become a little dingy, especially the black and white. I purchase the same colors in the fall, but in the long sleeve basic tee style.

Oh, and before I forget……….I love Fall because the weather cools off, and the colors in the foliage here in Georgia so brilliant. I know you’re thinking, “she likes Spring because it gets warmer here, and Fall because it cools off.” All I can say is I’m a women, and my thermostat is still a bit fickle at my age. What can I say? I think some of you can relate to that.
